Center for Integrative Psychiatry
Â
Become a Certified Integrative Psychiatry Professional (IPP-C) in a 6-Month Self-Paced Program.
Unify your approach to symptoms & experiences, labs, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, psychotherapy, and lifestyle interventions.
Created by Dr. Nicholas Hatcher, a psychiatric clinician and educator.
Enroll NowYour academic program has introduced you to the technical skills of clinical practice embedded in the dominant biomedical model. How to use reductive logic to apprehend and categorize human experience and synthesize a derivative plan of care.
This is Integrative Psychiatry...
Where the biomedical model unites with the philosophy and practice of holism... Where "doing" and "being" come together in a rhythmic dance.
Expand on Practical Skills
Diagnosis &Â Diagnostics
Effectively navigate through differential diagnosis considerations and include advanced lab and diagnostic testing.
Pharmaceuticals & Nutraceuticals
Explore the nuances of evidence-based treatment options and how to navigate them.
Lifestyle Modification
Incorporate lifestyle strategies effectively to support engagement in mental wellbeing.
Psychotherapy Techniques
Tailor techniques to each individual based on what has been demonstrated to work.
Organized Meaningfully
All content is organized into meaningful domains that effectively guide an integrative psychiatry formulation.
1. Behavior
All human beings are in a continually unfolding process of becoming, where we co-create our reality in relationship with the environment. In this becoming, our expression collides with the environment, creating an interface that can be apprehended by lifestyle domains.

3. Body
The psyche rests at least in part on a somatic base. In our efforts to co-create meaning, we examine the roots of our experience in the vessel within which it is contained. Here we work to support and optimize interconnected systems through advanced labs and diagnostics to nurture experiential processing and expand upon the meaning structure.
