Your academic program has introduced you to the technical skills of clinical practice embedded in the dominant biomedical model. How to use reductive logic to apprehend and categorize human experience and synthesize a derivative plan of care.

But this model can only bring you so close to the essence and complexity of human experience. Let me help you circumambulate this complexity, finding the unifying threads between fragmented domains of human experience to more effectively synthesize a comprehensive, yet personalized, plan of care.

Organized Meaningfully

All content is organized into meaningful domains that effectively guide an integrative psychiatry formulation.

1. Behavior

All human beings are in a continually unfolding process of becoming, where we co-create our reality in relationship with the environment. In this becoming, our expression collides with the environment, creating an interface that can be apprehended by lifestyle domains.

2. Brain

In the context of these collisions, we receive messages of harmony versus disharmony. We call these messages variously - emotions, memories, images, thoughts, and sensations - in other words, what the brain EMITS. All coalescing into a meaning ascribed to the apprehended experience. This may be where one considers nutraceutical and pharmaceutical agents to mitigate the message.

3. Body

The psyche rests at least in part on a somatic base. In our efforts to co-create meaning, we examine the roots of our experience in the vessel within which it is contained. Here we work to support and optimize interconnected systems through advanced labs and diagnostics to nurture experiential processing and expand upon the meaning structure.

4. Being

All paths ultimately lead to the center of our Being. The original perturbation, the message, leads us at last to a psychospiritual interface where we find the expression of needs and innate qualities. Calling this forward into the architecture of our evolving behavioral repertoire is essential for our continual becoming.
